Welcome to The Postcard Project website. In 2019, I created “The Know You’re From Auburn If …” series designed to celebrate my hometown, Auburn NY. I love everything about postcards, the image, handwriting, message, the stamp, and the joy in both sending and receiving postcards. It’s fun … a simple but special form of communication. Over the years, the postcard lines have grown, and it has been a privilege to connect to some extraordinarily talented photographers, Todd Tanner (link) and Matt Champlin (link). My little “passion project” grew from one series to five and folks are sending postcards! What a treat to hear from so many postcard friends.
I was raised with the spirit of giving, and proceeds from my postcard sales are donated to both: The Auburn Education Foundation (link) and the Finger Lakes Land Trust (link). 10% of proceeds are donated yearly. To date, The Postcard Project has donated $2000.00 to the Auburn Education Foundation (link) and a special donation of $1000.00 was donated to Saints Peter & Paul Ukrainian Relief Efforts. Year-end 2022 will mark the first donation to the Finger Lakes Land Trust (link)!
